Toronto Picture of the Day, Premier Edition
Well, I’ve been thinking about ways to get more stuff onto this blog for everyone to look at and one of the things I would like to try is to start a series called Toronto Picture of the Day, or TPOD for short. This would basically be a short post every 1-2 days that accompanied a picture of something within the City of Toronto that I found interesting enough to take a picture of, or something that I found from another source interesting enough to share with you here. So, we’ll see how that goes for awhile and if people seem to be enjoying it, then I’ll keep it around. This will be in addition to some of the other stuff I plan to do with the blog and I’ve already got plans for the next serial to launch. So, without further ado, here is the first installment of the TPOD series.
This is a picture that I took last winter after a particular severe storm had knocked out some of the power. You’ll notice that the tree branches are completely incased in ice; something I found very beautiful at the time. Basically, the weather was cold enough for freezing rain that coated everything in these cases of ice and I have loads of other pictures with different parts of the back and front yards that look exactly the same as these branches. I thought it looked cool enough to share with you, but feel free to let me know what you think!
