Wind Damages and Additional News from Toronto
Well, it appears that even though it hasn’t snowed in Toronto for awhile and even though there is no snow anywhere on the ground, city officials are still having problems with the weather. In particular, the wind. And that is what kicks off this edition of news from Toronto that travelers might find interesting.
1) Hydro crews are still scrambling to try and fix much of the fallout that has come from damages caused by heavy winds.
2) Raptors destroy 76ers at the Air Canada Centre.
3) Leafs end up losing (again), but captain Mats Sundin vows to stay with the team. Looks like ticket prices are going to stay right where they have been for awhile, unfortunately for travelers and probably some residents too.
