Venue
Widely regarded as being one of the most historical romantic places in Toronto, Casa Loma has often held a sense of wonder for different people for different reasons. Kids look up at the castle and see knights, medieval times and everything that goes along with that and see a chance to remember those times through a visit. Adults see romance and the royalty lifestyle and as they walk around the rooms of the castle even the most underused imagination gets a chance to think about what it would be like to live in the castle era as a member of a royal family. In addition to being one of the most visited attractions in the city, Casa Loma is also frequently used as a venue for other events. More information about these events can be found by reading The Toronto Traveler or checking out the Casa Loma website which will be posted in the blogroll.
Event
When children arrive at Casa Loma, they are going to be given a crash course on everything required to become a knight or a dame. Not only are they going to get a demonstration of single combat between two people from that era, but they are also going to hear wonderful stories about medieval times and what it was like to fight and charge for King and country. Then, families will be given a chance to design a coat of arms for their family and at the end of the three hours all successful squires will be knighted and receive their very own certificate of Knighthood courtesy of Casa Loma.
