Pink Martini at Massey Hall

Once referred to by The New Yorker as being “Beautiful and sophisticated,” the Pink Martini band has been touring all around North America with their interesting blend of musical styles and part of that tour includes a stop in Toronto at Massey Hall. Pink Martini can be lovingly called an ultra-chic orchestra and they can play everything from a Cuban rumba all the way to a Hollywood musical and everything in between as well. Listening to them is always a good time.

I attended the Pink Martini concert at Avery Hall in New York this last Sunday– what a show! It was great!
Lead singer China Forbes was nothing less than amazing and they managed to highlight every one of the 13 members of the “orchestra.”
This show is highly recommended!
Thanks for the heads up Heather
It sounded like a great thing to talk about when I first read about it, but getting feedback is excellent too!
I’ve seen Pink Martini several times — in both a formal symphonic setting and outdoors at winery. Different types of performances, to be sure, but both were excellen!
