The Santa Claus Parade is one of the annual institutions within the City of Toronto.  With all of the different events that go on within Toronto every year it is perhaps surprising that any event can be thought of as an institution, but if one exists then it is definitely this parade.  I used to go to it all the time as a kid and since the first parade was held in 1905, I’m sure many generations before me have done the exact same thing.

Toronto Tourism Tendencies: Casa Loma

While there are many different castles around the world, there are not that many in North America.  Because of this, a castle is automatically a tourist attraction and even in Europe Casa Loma would probably still be considered a top class tourist attraction; it is just that great a place to visit.
Casa Loma used to be the home of Sir Henry Mill Pellatt; a soldier and financier that is famous in Canadian history.  He was not in the castle very long however, as a combination of high property taxes and high living expenses forced him into bankruptcy during the depression.  …read more

So I’ve been a bit light on time in the last 24-hour period or so and I thought I’d take a look and see if there were any cool pictures floating around of the ultimate Toronto landmark; the CN Tower.
