TPOD: Enjoying the Breeze

Well, I just finished my last exam for the year and am definitely in decompression mode.  Additionally, the exam made it a bit difficult for me to come with something insightful today, so instead I’ve gone through pictures on Flickr to find you an excellent Toronto picture to act as a holdover to tomorrow.  In a city that is so identified with the colour blue, I think a picture like this definitely does a lot to bring the city home.

So, I was cruising YouTube as I do from time to time and I came across this video:

Not exactly tourism related, but I thought getting a few shots of the lightning striking the CN Tower would be cool enough to overcome that! According to the CN Tower website, lightning strikes the CN Tower about 75 times a year. According to the person that posted this video on YouTube, these strikes are from a storm in August 2003

When the Liberal government was elected late last year, one of the promises that Dalton McGuinty made to Ontarians was that he would create another statutory holiday for them to participate in.
